The menu is focused on their bánh mì which is a French inspired Vietnamese sub. It's a pretty unassuming space and you may have to ring a button at the front to get service.Īnyways, decided to try out this place after grabbing some matcha ice cream at Matcha Cafe Maiko around the corner.

Within the cove, it's on the right towards the back. Second, it's nestled amongst other restaurants so it's a bit difficult to find. You'll most likely will find parking around the corner and will have to walk around to get to to here unless you get lucky. Not perfect, but still amazingly delicious.įirst off, parking is a pain since it's on Colonial Dr. Overall, four stars is the perfect way to describe this place. Sushi roll's biggest lacking sometimes is texture, so these flavorless little balls of crunch were perfect. And the little crunchy things they put on that one roll were genius. The sauces and herbs they used were not too much, and complemented flavors well. I do not remember what rolls I got that day, but you can check the picture to see how bright and vibrant they look.Īll of the seafood tasted fresh and had a good texture. Once you finally get your food, Bento has the best quick service sushi in the entire Central Florida area. So, a word of advice, if you're ordering takeout from a Bento, tell them you want to pick up the food 30 minutes before you actually want it. I waited a full 30 minutes longer than I was told it would be for my takeout order. Their takeout is about the worse thing I have ever seen. I will say two things about this Bento location.ġ. Having hair in the food is a haunting image for me. I felt rushed, food was just okay, and that guy server kept walking back and forth in front of me and never greeted me gave me an unwelcoming feeling. But the experience did ruined my appetite.

I informed the elderly cashier and she took it off the bill. Anyway, my son spotted one piece of hair and I spotted a long piece of hair in the fried taro. I know it’s deep fried but my favorite place makes it fried crispy outside and you can’t hardly see oil seeping into the interior. The fried taro is one of my favorite dim sum but this place makes it super oily. The kids also like the plain rice paste (which I am not a fan of).Įgg drop soup was watery and bland and definitely a waste of money. Beef chow fun was good, beef was tender, and not too oily like other restaurants make it. The kids liked the soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, and shrimp dumplings. I ordered a lot to see what my kids and I like. They could have put a sign to tell customers to walk straight further back to the cashier counter to be seated or something. The elderly lady greeted us and led us to our table.

After like ten minutes just standing there, I walked my kids to the back of the restaurant where the cashier. He never welcomed us or gestured us to sit down or wait. I stood at the front and this guy server walked past my kids and me many times looking at us with an ignorant look. First time to Peter’s Kitchen…and will be the last time too.Ĭustomer service: We were one of the early birds and there were only about five tables filled up.
